Using your cell phone, you can receive a convenient, fast and free Virtual Consultation with Dr. Diane. That's right! Submitting the requested photos of your teeth and bite goes directly and securely to Dr. Diane for her review and advice.

Since 2019, she has offered over 1000 virtual consultations. Imagine coming into the office to complete your complimentary exam process knowing her thoughts, a treatment plan and even costs before you come in? The Virtual Consultation process takes the worry out of what you're going to hear. You even get the chance to engage in asking questions before you come in! Once you hear back from Dr. Diane, our Treatment Coordinator will reach out to introduce herself to you and get to know your goals better. She can even review fees with you and reserve a time to get started!

Digital X-rays

Orthodontic x-rays include a panoramic film and when needed, a growth film called a lateral cephalometric. These x-rays give Dr. Diane different information than the x-rays your dentist usually takes, which check for cavities and bone loss.

A panoramic x-ray is a low-dose overview of your jaws, jaw joints, and teeth - both erupted and developing. This film helps to detect missing or extra teeth, angles of emerging teeth, issues with eruption, crowding and status of wisdom tooth development. It can also help detect pathologies and some bony issues in your jaw joints. The lateral cephalometric is used to detemine growth discrepancies in the jaws, growth patterns, and forward limits of tooth movement. It can also show limited information about your airway.

Since we use digital technology, you can be assured that the dosage of radiation is low. As an example, a panoramic film actually has less radiation than a single bitewing taken to check for cavities due to the different purposes of each X-ray! Rest assured, we will share copies of our films with your dental office as well.

iTero™ Intraoral Scanner

No more goop! The iTero scanner is a radiation-free, precision camera on a hand-held wand that recreates your mouth in real time! Once the image of your teeth and bite is captured, this completes the diagnostic model used by Dr. Diane to confirm your treatment plan. The image can also be uploaded to our labs to make your appliances and Invisalign aligners. The precision of the scan generates incredibly well-fitted appliances!
