Nature Strikes Again!
Space maintainers like a Lingual Arch, Nance or Band and Loop can be life savers when there's a moderate degree of crowding or early loss of a baby tooth. Preserving the space can mean having the option to keep all your permanent teeth when it comes time for full braces. Not every child needs one, but an early evaluation can mean finding the best time before natural spaces are lost.
Consultations & Monitoring for Children
Children should have their first orthodontic assessment around age seven. This early visit helps us spot developing issues and determine whether treatment might be needed now or in the future.
If your child could benefit from a space maintainer or other early treatment recommended by Dr. Diane, we will work with you to get this started. If not, we provide complimentary observation visits approximately every 12 months until your child is ready for comprehensive orthodontic care. Make these visits fun by joining Archie's All Star Smiles Club!
